Victim Quick Response Program
The CQRP has been established by the Ministry of
the Attorney General to provide timely assistance to
victims of the most violent crime.
PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY
The VQRP has been established to provide assistance to
victims of:
* Homicide (Including attempted murder)
* Serious Physical Assault (Including but not limited to
assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm,
aggravated assault)
* Domestic Violence
* Sexual Assault
* Hate Crime
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
* To provide assistance to victims in the immediate
aftermath of the violent crime.
* To lessen the impact of violent crime though immediate
support services to victims.
* To increase the immediate safety of victims of violent
crime.
If you have been the victim of a homicide, serious
physical assault, domestic violence, sexual assault or a
hate crime you may be eligible to receive:
* Short-term immediate Counseling Services
* Funeral Expenses for victims of homicide
* Crime Scene Clean Up
* Emergency Home Repairs
* Transportation Costs
* Emergency Child Care & Dependent Care for Elderly or
Special Needs Dependents
* Emergency Accommodation & Meals |
